Investor Relations
PE/VC, IPO, Post-IPO
Service Description
Cogent works with Investment Bankers and Underwriters on a company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) launch, looking after all IPO communications and preparing management for their investment roadshows and business media interviews, for the purpose of building investor interest and broad market support for the IPO. Post-IPO, Cogent plans and executes Investor Relations (IR) programmes for listed companies to proactively market them to the investment community on a regular basis, as well as help them comply with good corporate governance practices in their communicating with shareholders. The end objective for any IR programme is to help listed companies achieve a fair market valuation and establish sustained investor interest, confidence, and ultimately trust. Cogent also helps private companies with regard to their IR and fundraising from early-stage investors, private equity funds and Pre-IPO investors. A comprehensive IR programme includes value-added services like positioning a company, assisting in the preparation of announcements, managing media engagement and publicity, developing IR materials, organising of roadshows, site visits and meetings with various fund managers, analysts, dealers and high net-worth individuals as well as dealing with shareholder queries. In addition, Cogent provides counsel to senior management and the Board of Directors especially in the areas that impact their stakeholders. Cogent seeks to align a communication strategy with management’s business objectives so that stakeholders can better understand a company’s business decisions.
